Dear DD,
Happy 4th of July! Today was my half-birthday! I'm 6 months old! Mommy says I have the cutest dimples in my cheeks and chin. I decided to show them off for you today! I didn't feel like sitting up tall today, so you can't tell, but I'm a lot taller than my lamb now! I wanted to play with my toes today.
And then I wanted to do push-ups so I can get strong muscles!
Then Jovie came to see me. But I was talking too loud and she wanted to leave, so Daddy had to hold her in the chair by me for this picture! I love my kitty and my puppy. They are soft.
Mommy told me to tell you that I'm rolling over from front to back and back to front. I'm pushing up and locking my elbows and getting close to crawling. I'm babbling dadadadada, mumumumum, bababababa, ggggg. I reach for things I want, drink out of a sippy cup, and love trying new foods. I can sit up with help, and can almost do it by myself. I love standing (with help), and I like to play stand up/sit down! I'm sleeping through the night (usually about 12 hours!), and I take 2-3 good naps a day.
DD, I hope you had a good day today. We just stayed home because we are packing to go on a vacation. We went to my grandma and grandpa's house tonight for dinner. Grammy came too, and so did my Uncle Blake, Aunt Renae, and 2 of my cousins: Ashley and Chelsea. It was pretty fun, but I got sleepy. I didn't even stay awake for fireworks! I did get to eat some watermelon mixed with my oatmeal, though. I like the taste of watermelon! Have a good weekend, DD!

Oh DD, He is absolutely precious. You can be proud of your little boy! We completely adore him, and so does everyone else he meets! I have about 7 posts I've been working on to get published for you, and I hope to get them up by the end of the week. I'm so sorry I got bogged down and haven't kept the blog up to date. I will ask God to help me to stay on top of it, for your sake. I haven't forgotten you, and we continue to talk about you to Landry. I will order some more pictures to mail to you, too. He is SO active now, that I have found it harder to make time to sit at the computer and blog, but I just bought a new laptop so I can move around the house to wherever he is so I can do my blogging on the run! We'd like to come up with a nickname for his birthfather, too. Is *E* good? Or do you have another idea?
