Special Delivery for you, DD!

Hi DD,

We sent a special package to Generations 2 weeks ago for Laura to forward to you.  She called the number they had on file and was not able to reach you.  She wants to confirm they have a good address for you before sending the package on.  If you've changed your address or phone number, would you let Laura know?  We would like very much to be able to keep in touch with you and share the joy of our little boy!

1 year old stats

Hi DD!

Here are the latest stats on our Landry!

He is 29 1/4" tall and weighs 21 lbs, 3 1/2 oz.  this makes him 50th percentile on weight and 30th on height.  He is now weaned off bottles and formula.  He can take a few steps at a time.  He loves climbing.  He says:  Dada, Dad, Daddy, Mama, Dah (dog), Cah (cat), bawawawa (to any dog or cat), Hi, Bye, Uh-oh (this is a big one), ball, baba (bottle), bbboon (balloon), owl, and Dat (that - pointing to whatever it is that he wants).  He is learning new things everyday, and whenever he does, he claps for himself!  We got him a child-sized basketball goal for his birthday.  Every time he makes a basket, he claps for himself!  He also got a peek-a-boo book for his birthday, and he loves to read it and play it.  He is the sweetest, cutest, happiest little boy!  We love him more and more every day!

Time Flies!

Dear DD,

Here are pictures from my first birthday.  It was an airplane party because Mommy said that time flies by with me growing so fast!

I liked the cotton candy clouds on my cake, but didn't really like getting my hands dirty...until I tasted how yummy the cake was!

My Grammy got me that big green water/sand tables play with outside, but Mommy put it in my room for the party and she put blue sky and clouds and airplanes in it!  My friends gave me an awesome backhoe tractor to ride on.  It is so fun!  I got a lot of other really fun and cool books and gifts too.  It was a great day!

Mommy and Daddy said they kept praying for you on my birthday.  We all love you, DD!

I had a baby Christmas tree and train in my room,  I liked taking the train off the tracks!

Sleepy, silly, and a star!  I LOVE balloons.  Mama took a picture of me hiding behind the curtain with my red star balloon.  I always like the shiny balloons at the grocery store!

Seeing my first snow in Kansas, right before Christmas.

I got to fly on airplanes when I went to Kansas.  I liked flirting with the flight attendants and passengers, and I loved the pretzels.

Grandma and Grandpa got me a Cozy Coupe car for Christmas.  I like getting in and out of it.
